Stargard Historical Parade
„Stargard Historical Parade” is a unique procession held annually to commemorate the city's founding anniversary, during which history intertwines with the present, creating an unforgettable spectacle for residents and visitors. In the historical part, participants, carefully dressed in authentic costumes representing different eras, bring to life the characters of past inhabitants – from medieval knights, through early modern craftsmen, baroque burghers, to 19th-century gentlemen. Each costume, reenactment, and recreated atmosphere of bygone times forms a living history lesson, allowing the audience to uncover the secrets of the past.
In addition to this traditional section, the "Stargard Historical Parade" also includes a modern parade. In this part of the event, schools, sports clubs, associations, and cultural institutions participate, showcasing the full scope of the city's contemporary life. It is a unique opportunity for integration, joint celebration, and reflection on the continuity of Stargard's history, where ancient traditions meet the contemporary spirit of the local community.
