Art Dissemination, Education and Promotion Department
The work of the Department focuses on three areas reflected in its name: the promotion of art, education, and promotion.
In the first area, we organize permanent and temporary exhibitions, vernissages, events, promotions, lectures, and other cultural events at the Museum. We also maintain the Museum’s chronicle, where we collect various memorabilia related to the life of our institution, such as photographs, press clippings, and publications.
Another aspect of our work is preparing publications – invitations, posters, leaflets, catalogs, brochures, and informational materials. We are responsible for properly informing the public about all the Museum’s activities. In addition to preparing and distributing promotional materials, we manage our website and social media profiles on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. We maintain ongoing cooperation with other institutions and the media, including the press, radio, television, and online portals.
A very important part of the Department’s work is educational and outreach activities. We organize museum lessons, holiday and winter break activities for children and young people of all age groups – from preschool to post-secondary school. All lesson topics are tailored to the age and interests of the audience, including children with intellectual and physical disabilities. The program focuses on teaching regional content, fostering a sense of connection to one’s homeland and local community, and encouraging creative activity. We offer lecture-based lessons, enriched with multimedia presentations, lessons at permanent and temporary exhibitions, which include elements of guided tours of current displays, as well as hands-on workshops that require active participation from the attendees.
