Library Collections
The library collection comprises over 17,000 volumes, primarily covering fields such as archaeology (with a focus on the Middle Ages and modern times), history, art, museology, and related auxiliary sciences. In addition to books and periodicals, the MAH Library holds special collections, including rare prints from 1560–1797. A small portion of these originates from the former Groening Gymnasium, as evidenced by preserved stamps. Others bear marks from old Szczecin libraries or handwritten inscriptions from their previous owners. Externally exquisite, bound in leather, some featuring embossing and metal fittings, these volumes contain intricate illustrations. The library's holdings also include manuscripts from the 17th to the 20th century, musical scores, historical collections (1800–1950), and prints related to social life.
